Our Philosophy

Wecome! Third Street is a small town, locally owned hair salon located in historic downtown Tipp City. We are proud to offer a comfortable space surrounded by positive, well-trained and exceptional stylists. We offer services such as haircutting, styling, perming, a wide variety of coloring services, wedding/formal styles as well as waxing services. Meet Our Stylists

Holly Shepherd
Salon Owner/Stylist

Hello! My goal is to operate this salon in a way that each individual who comes in is greeted with a smile and leaves feeling fantastic. The same goes for anyone who sits in my chair. I am a licensed cosmetologist of over 12 years. I received my training from Creative Images Institute of Cosmetology in Dayton, Ohio. I specialize in blonding services through multiple technique as well as the most cutting edge precision cutting and razor cuts. I enjoy creating "color cocktails" designed for individuals specific to their skin tone and lifestyle as well as color techniques such as highlighting/lowlighting, foilage, balayage, ombre and resistant grey coverage. I strive to listen to each clients needs and desires to give the best service based on lifestyle and maintenance concerns. As well as hair services I offer arm, underarm and full facial waxing in a private area. Thank you for taking the time to learn about each of us and we hope to serve you in the future!

Carol Shepherd
I am a veteran hairstylist of almost 50 years and co-founder of Third Street Salon. I am proud to be a business owner and established stylist in Tipp City for many years. We strive to create a positive and friendly environment for each guest here at the salon and thank each established client for many years of patronage. I am currently not taking any new clients at this time.

Holly Shepherd
I am a professional stylist trained and certified at the Aveda Institute with over 15 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. I am constantly developing and honing my skills to keep up with current trends. I enjoy taking classes and learning new techniques. I specialize in color and have amazing results with the use of Paul Mitchell's color line. Fashion and hair are always evolving and that is what makes my job so much fun! When you sit in my chair I have one goal: to help you feel refreshed. I look forward to meeting you and accomplishing your beauty wants.

Hello! I'm Nicole and I have been a hair stylist for 10 wonderful years. I was trained at Aveda Frederic's institute for cosmetology. I specialize in custom color to match your individual appearance. There is nothing I love more than giving my clients a boost in confidence, all while developing close friendships. I would love to get to know you and get my hands in your hair! Hi it’s Carrie! I am a 20 year veteran of the Beauty Industry! Ten of those years have been focusing on all natural and multi-textured hair. I love specializing and helping all with natural texture by embracing with what God gave us. I am a busy mother to my 20 year old son William and 16 year old daughter, Claire.
